Inspections ensure systems function properly in an emergency, meet NFPA and local code requirements, and help prevent fines or failures during actual events.

Fire alarms require annual inspections at minimum, with quarterly or semi-annual checks for certain components, based on NFPA 72 and local regulations.

Per NFPA 25, sprinkler systems need quarterly, annual, and five-year inspections, depending on the component (e.g., valves, pipes, gauges, etc.).

Fire extinguishers require a monthly visual inspection and an annual maintenance check by a certified technician. Hydrostatic testing is needed every 5 or 12 years, depending on the type.

Only trained and certified technicians can perform inspections, testing, and maintenance per NFPA codes. FSS Technologies provides fully certified professionals for all services.
